i like all the extra features… so far a great app for quick overview of local weather.

This ap has nice interface and options, but it’s information is wrong. Temperature varies by 10 degrees to other sources and when it’s raining it says it is not. I really wanted this to work, but when I can click The Weather Channel and get accurate information…why.

Not fllexible enough. Does not show weather well for multiple days ahead or at different times in a day. Don’t like it

I use this app on my laptop and my iPhone a lot! I love how it will tell me when the weather changes.

Not very impressed with this weather app. It’s not very intuitive and I thought I had just a limited amount of info because it didn’t explain how to change things. I finally messed around with format to get more weather information that I want. Obvioulsy some people want just some basic stats, but I want as much as possible. Also, and the developers would probably BLAME ME for this, but any decent weather app should have RADAR !!! What gives with this? A weather app that I apparently PAID FOR AND NO RADAR? RIDICULOUS ! I don’t like the NO RADAR access. I’m not clear on how to delete it, but that’s what I’d like to do

The app may not update for as long as 3 hours so you’re basically getting old information. Comparing to a different app that is free, Weather Live is rarely current weather information. The free app by a different developer seems to give more current information. Don’t really care about ‘pretty pictures”, rather would have good weather information. For $5 I expect more.

Was surprised at the weaknesses in this app. Have the ios versions. Biggest thing to notice was the abililty to find locations. On ios it found every location by name. On this app I had to put in the zipcode and then it gave me a town close by but not the one I desired to add. Seems sluggish when switching between locations. I’ll keep it since I paid for it but this is one time I assumed the OS X app would be as good as the IOS or better. I was wrong.

Like that it uses the upper status bar, keeps on eye on the weather all the time. Its seems to have a stuck a message box to have me rate the app that won’t dismiss though.

The weather report is too far from being accurate. It’s completely raining cats and dogs outside for half an hour now and the app is showing “cloudy” depite numerous attempts to update.

Two days ago the app was working well, but today I noticed something wrong. The app doesn’t view the location, all text are mix between them. No update so far. And I already bought app from the app store. Fix it please. Thank you.

Overall it does what it says well for a decent price. It’s attractive, and provides lots of detail especially in the full windowed app. The main reason I bought this was the ability to customize the notification widget to show humidity - I couldn’t find any other app or widget allowing this. There are a couple issues: The automatic data updates are erratic - I sometimes have to update manually, which involves opening the full app. Also, the notification widget is designed for a previous version of macOS and is therefore difficult to read. I have reported these issues and the company responded very promptly with a desire to correct them in a future update. Finally, I wish the menu bar dropdown showed more information, similarly to the notification widget, and/or provided the ability to refresh the data - but I can live with what’s there.

Down and dirty simple. Still the easiest to look at in a glance and know what is in store for your day and comming week.

Nice app, except running it in the backgound /displaying in the top menue bar, etc./ will reduce your battery charge dramatically!!!! You can see it simply in ativity monitor on your mac. i had to stop using tis app

in the notification center for example, the text is not readable as the background color is now white instead of black and its hard to read white text on white background

Enjoy this for its succinct & gives me what I need before I go out the door. I appreciate the brevity.

Best weather app I have come across so far!

I really like the look and possabilities of this application. I love to track weather during the hot summers so I know when to shut down the air conditioner, open windows and place window fans. My Samsung Galaxy S5 weather applications are not perfect as they differ with temperaturs some times. But, this applicatioin is way off to the point of being useless. At this very moment, this application shows my location has a 81 F temperature. Weather.com and Weather Underground shows my current temperature to be 74. The outside thermometer shows 76 (being close to the house it would be a bit warmer). I turned the momentary screen alerts on for this application and it showed 74 BUT the full screen slid down to! 78. Not recommended until the developer fixes these issues.

This app is beautiful and works great on my iPhone… so I thought I’d download it and have it on my PowerBook, as well… Well…. you can’t set the location for it… so it’s completely useless. Very Frustrating !!!!
