Weather Live App Reviews

There seems to be no way to change from the default settings of Fahrenheit and miles per hour two Celsius and kilometers per hour or any other setting. When you try there is no way to save your new settings and it always defaults back to the original. Please fix.

This doesn’t work in Yosemite.

I Love this weather app over all others, and i’ve tried many. I would like to be able to see more Parameters on the screen at the same time. I like to be able to see the weather in the country i’m in, and the weather in my home country. Sometimes i need to see both windchill for Canada, and heat index for the Philippines etc. Keep up the good work.

very informative anywhere in the world,fixed the glitch when I downloaded Yosemite and opened perfectly to write this review. I see by the reviews people still dont like the weatherman, it’s Nature ever changing give them a break. Great App.

What a disappointment. I bought the paid version only to find the weather information is not accurate. For example, Berlin, Germany right now shows as clear and cold when it is actually cloudy and intermittent rain. Where is this company getting its information from? Major fail.

Just downloaded and installed Weather Live. So far so good. Multiple locations ok, Temp correct and in Celsius, Wind in Kmh. Would be even better if 14 day outlook available.

Best weather app I’ve tried so far, does everything as advertised and does it well. I give four stars out of five because I would like to see more than four icons (at least two more) surrounding the wind speed and direction.

This is a fantastic app! Great pics and views of your choice. Its not at all too Technical. Easy to Understand.

Very nice interface and works as advertised. However, this app is a huge CPU hog and therefore consumes ridiculous amounts of power. Yosemite reports 98% average CPU usage and 100 average energy impact by this app. High energy consumption renders it unusable. By comparison, Google Chrome (admittedly another energy hog) playing youtube video in full screen mode has average energy impact of 45.

Never thought an app about something as mundane as weather could become a favorite but there it is! Superb visual presentation. Other developpers should look at this app to see how it’s done. This a top app for iPad along with Living Earth and Sky Guide. A pleasure to use.

Great tool for predicting the weather each day.

This is a nice-looking app, and the menubar item is a nice bonus. However: the current temperature reading is almost always wrong, which makes the app absolutely less than useful. As I write this, every other weather source is indicating that the current temp in Ottawa is -11 or -12; Weather Live is showing it as -18. That is a SIGNIFICANT difference, especially right now as Im trying to determine whether or not its too cold to take my dog out for a walk. I dont know how the heck this app manages to do such a horrible job displaying current temp -- shouldnt it be drawing its info from Environment Canada, as every other app seems to do? Im off to find an app that will actually give me accurate information. Dont waste your time with this one.

Great app. Very reasonably priced, unobtrusive, the forecasts are as reliable as any, and it does what it is supposed to do.

I have had a few different apps of this gendre, and I like this one best. It is fast, has lovely backgrounds and is easy to read. I don’t want a mess, or perhaps a mass of data, I just want the weather basics. I’m sure that it can be up graded to suit Weather Nerds, but I just want to know if it’s going to rain.

I find the information is inaccurate for my location many times. Today it is showing snow falling, yet it is sunny and the temp is not the same as what you state. The other day it showed rain during times when we had none. Sometimes it is right on. Other times it is not.

i really like this app

I like the backgrounds which accompany this app. It’s like they took a picture of what it looks like outside. Yes I always get a chuckle when I look to see what the weather is like outside my place.

Desktop App reads: +12C (correct!) Notification Centre Extension reads: -8, Feels Like -18C (WTF?) No amount of quitting, relaunching, removing replacing app / extension will get them to agree on the temperature in Montreal. Same crap happened a few weeks ago in another city, another province. Not too helpful.

This Is A Great App For Any Apple Product!!!

This a nice weather app and gives a pretty accurate picture of the current weather. As far as I am concerned weather forecasting is very difficult at best and this app relays the current weather conditions as best it can and I think it was a good job doing that. Just make sure you pick a wether location that will accurately show your weather. Picking the closest town does not mean the weather will be accurate, it depemds on where the wather station is located. In my case the nearest town gave me false readings because the weather station was further away from me than the Municpality I live in…..turns our that weather station is near by….hense when I changed locations the weather is far more accurant now. Its a good app and I have it on my screen 24/7.
