I feel bad for paying for this. The forecasts and current temperatures are simply not functional. If you compare with literally any website, you will see just how far off they are. You cannot view forecasts from the menu bar either. I don’t know why you’d want this app. They even limit how many factors you can see within the full app for some stupid design reasons

I have to keep updating the widget on my own for current weather conditions.

Have used a lot of weather apps, and big requirements for me are the ability to look at multiple locations, and different views of data (day, week view, etc); Weather Live is the app that is closest to this for me. A few things would make it perfect (hint, hint): 1. Sync across devices through iCloud (frustrating to have to keep setting them up per device) 2. The Hour and Day forecast could be shown simultaneously; is annoying to have to click between the two views 3. Even with “Show Animations” off, it still takes ~3 seconds to move between locations, either through the arrows, or the arrow keys Thanks for making a great app!

That is all. It does not even open.

Inaccurate in many locations (iOS version), Mac OS Notification Center widget not working.

This app started out fine, but increasingly slowed computer on startup and couldn’t be removed to be started manually. Then it apparently was corrupted and I had to remove it to prevent its getting in the way. When I tried to reinstall it, the vendor wanted me to pay another $4.99. I don’t think so. Don’t let yourself get sucked in. It’s a big headache.

But I did. If you’re picky about your weather app this is the one you need. You’re going to find the interface you want, but mine generally stays closed unless I need to know tomorrow’s weather. The icon thingy of course sits in the top menu bar showing you the current temp 24 /7. Doesn’t get any easier than that.

I can’t belive I paid $5 for this app and I can’t even read what it says when viewing the weather in notification center. The only reason I bought this and its useless, because you guys decided to make the text grey on grey. Will change my review when it’s fixed...

This is a great wheather app. It is easy to use and has a lot of useful features. It would be great if it could have a map that shows the wheather radar. Other than that, it is a soild app!

I’ve had this app on my iPad for a few years and love it. Got a new MacBook Air and got the free version. Very limited. So I purchesed the full version, and not much difference, unless I missed something. My ipad version lets you scroll down for all sorts of info, as well as being able to stream live satellite. This app doesn’t seem to have that. In Florida, you need this for hurricanes.

Great app and not so intrusive.

The iPhone version is far more graphically appealing and allows you to see the ‘hourly’ weather for each day you select. If you have the iPhone version, you are likely to be disappointed with this one.

It worked at first. Then one day, for no apparent reason it stopped. It cannot stay open. It cannot find my location. It cannot remain in my preferred Celsius reading. If you bother to open it, the app will reveal the correct time. But you will have to tell it where you are and what your preferences are every time. Is it worth that kind of effort? Naw.

Apple Store’s Weather Live app should be FREE WARE, the way Weather Live works on new 2016 Mac Pro shipped with current macOS Sierra. Support’s Anastasia Tretinnikova got back to me right away asking me to use “Locations” settings that do not exist. Here’s a short list of app fails. 1. Software manufacturer Apalon Apps forgot to add “+ -“ toggle to locations dialog. The only “multiple locations button is greyed out “Delete Selected”. Only shows local location. 2. Auto update popups on desktop died after 24h (likely mishandled caching). 3. Activity Monitor shows Weather Live has been active constantly, since intall, never ceasing use of CPU, like Trojan virus. Since install, using more CPU time than any other app. Only Mail and Safari are using more system memory. App size is very tiny, like a Trojan virus. One star for a single pretty background picture that scrolls over and over from left-to-right. Waiting for Anastasia and Apalon Apps to fix app. But where do they start? In its present state, this app is total waste of money. In addition to not available Multiple locations functionality, Multiple app failures and enormous waste of system resources. Is the store accidentally downloading a freeware minimal functionality ‘picture’ of the app? No. Not the way it hogs resource. Open Applications folder, drag Weather Live to trash: open Apple Store Purchased, right click, “Hide selected…”. This app is clearly not ready for sales. The purchase is funding for development. Or simply spyware supporting the new Russian Minister of Security. NOT FOR USE.

I’m puzzled by some of the negative reviews as Activity Monitor on my MBPro (macOS 10.12.2 Sierra) shows very low % CPU and no noticeable increase in heat. The app is easy to set up, shows very accurate results, and is really beautiful. I also recommend the app for iPhone and iPad. Thanks Apalon!

very disappointed inaccurate..shows Sat Feb 18 as -4 yet all others say +9..what gives..so I give a “0"

I bought this app because there was a 40% or 50% discount offer (pop up ad) from the related alarm clock app. While both apps seem ok, I definitely got charged the full price for Weather app which was offered at a discount. I would not have purchased this Weather app had it not been for the discount offer. What will you do for me now? Offer me a discount and dont deliver! Based on ethics I rate your weather app 1 star ?.

There is not understandable at all that an app at this price range is not being updated from 2015! Full of bugs and wrong behaviours on the entire app, one star is more than they deserve.

This app hides itself in the start-up process and starts up whether I want it to or not. NO soup for you!
